A proper thriller night by RCB and MI. The playoff between the two teams has become an interesting one. And RCB laughed the final laugh. After a compact team performance, RCB secured their place in the WPL final for the very first time. The fans enjoyed a power-packed playoff between these two teams. 

After winning the toss, RCB opted to bat first. While batting first, RCB lost the first two wickets quickly. When the other batters were struggling to score runs, Ellyse Perry stood tall and carried the team. She played a responsible knock of 66 runs in 50 balls. She smashed 8 boundaries and 1 over-boundaries. Wareham remained unbeaten on 18 runs. After 20 overs, they set a target of 136 runs. 

While chasing the runs, MI gave a decent start. Hayley Matthews was dismissed on 15 runs. Yastika Bhatia walked away after scoring 19 runs. After that, Natalie Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur were carrying the team. After Harmanpreet was dismissed on 33 runs, the batting lineup was broken. RCB won the match by 5 runs and secured their place in the final.
